Timeline
GB starts:  7 PM, Oct. 7, EDT
GB Format: GB will be open until  Oct. 30, may be ended early if orders reach production capacity.
GB Fulfillment: Start fulfilling 6months after GB ends.

Shipping
Shipping fee: $40
(Shipping via mostly with DHL, a few orders may use FedEx or UPS)
Note: For multiple orders, Graystudio will manually combine orders for you and refund the extra shipping fee before shipping. The return rule is simple, if you buy a board with add-ons, the shipping fee of the add-ons will be fully refunded. If you buy more than one board, the second board (and more) will deduct $20 for each. I.e., if you have 2 boards, the shipping fee total will be $40 + $20; if you buy three boards, the shipping fee total will be $40 + $20 + $20, and so on. No need to send any email regarding combining orders or refund on shipping.

QC Standards
QC standard of A stock
1. Product appearance: no scratches, bumps, or defects larger than 1*1mm on the outer surface of the kit (the outer surface is the up and down, left and right, back and forth six outer surfaces after assembly);
2. Function: the keyboard functions as intended, i.e. no issues were discovered when testing the PCB prior to assembling;
3. Structure: The keyboard structure is in good condition once fully assembled. i.e., there are no issues that prevent the keyboard from being fully assembled

Defects that may occur but are within acceptable limits
1. Defects that do not affect the use: marks due to anode hangers, slight CNC cutting lines, PCB scratches;
2. Appearance defects in tool parts, such as a bruised screwdriver.

FAQ

What does blind box mean?
Blind box refers to colors other than the 8 currently displayed, and the case  may be anodized or spray coat.

Is the Spaceforge hot-swappable?
Yes. It`s wired 1.6 mm Hot-swap PCB with no flex cuts.

What plates  are available?
FR4(1.5mm), Alu(1.5mm),PC(4mm), PEI(4mm) and Peek(4mm) .

VIAL or VIA?
The default firmware for Spaceforge is VIAL,but  VIA documents will be provided around fulfillment.

What foam is included?
1.5mm Plate(FR4/Alu) : 3.5 mm Poron plate foam & 0.5 mm ixPE PCB foam.
4mm Plate(PC/PEI/PEEK) : 0.5 mm ixPE PCB foam.

Why are PEI and PEEK plates more expensive?
Because these two materials have higher raw material costs, although the processing is the same as PC, the final cost is also higher.
